Ravens Rumors: Veteran Cornerback Linked to Baltimore
A new name has entered the rumor mill: a veteran cornerback with playoff experience is reportedly drawing interest from Baltimore as the secondary looks for reinforcements.
The fit
The Ravens value versatile defensive backs who can play inside and out, and this is exactly that profile. His man-coverage skills would let the defense stay aggressive on early downs.
The cost question
Nothing is free in October. The asking price — likely a mid-round pick — will determine whether this is real smoke or just agent-driven chatter. Baltimore’s front office is famously patient in these situations.
Verdict
This one has legs. The need is real, the scheme fit is clean, and the front office has a history of striking when the secondary needs help. File this under “worth watching.”
(Reminder: rumors are unconfirmed by nature — treat accordingly.)
